If none of the above works, try the following...

Check your screen resolution

Your screen resolutions should be set for 1024 x 768. This is the size most of the computer monitors are using today. Plus this is the size the templates are written for.

If you are on an older computer, your screen resolution may be set for 800 x 600, which is much larger than the new 1024 x 768.

If you change your screen resolution to the 1024 x 768, you will notice everything will look really small. It may feel quite strange, but you get used to it real fast. If you ever go back to 800 x 600 you will think it looks weird and too large.

There are directions below, to check and/or change your screen resolution.

If you must have your screen resolution on 800 x 600, because you need large print, you will have to configure your text differently on your webpages, so all of your text is showing for your correctly. Just remember, most of the surfers on the internet are using the 1024 x 768 resolution, so they will see your website differently. You can always change your screen resolution temporarily to see what most of your surfers see. You can also list "Best viewed at 1024 x 768 screen resolution" on your webpage.

Directions to check and/or change your screen resolution: Go to your desktop. Right click, left click on Properties. Go to the tab that says "Settings".

To change your screen resolution, look at where it says "screen resolution" and slide the bar over or back.

If your screen resolution is 800 x 600, you will notice a huge change in your screen size when you change it to 1024 x 768.

In order to save your settings, you must "apply" and "ok" the changes. You can always follow the directions again to change the resolution back to the way it was.
