If you are constantly receiving duplicate emails, with no apparent reason, it's possible our email servers have detected an email with a virus signature that is not yet listed with the International email virus database. If this is the case, since this email has a virus
signature which has yet to be determined, our email servers do not know how to dispose of the email properly.
In order to rectify this problem you must login to the email address at
BummerMail.com, and delete all spam that you see. Once you have done so, this should rectify the problem. You can test it by downloading the email again.
If this problem still persists, this means one of your legitimate emails contains the virus. In order to find out which one it is, take all existing emails left in the Inbox (via bummermail.com) and move them to a new or different folder, such as "Drafts". Leave one or two emails in the INbox and download your email again. Do this until you narrow it down to the offending email. (Move a few emails at a time) When you get down to the email that is infected it will do the same thing it is doing now, repeatedly download. When you find the
offending email, delete it.
For future reference, when or if this happens again, within 2-5 days, the anti-virus companies will be able to identify this new email virus, our email anti-virus filters will be updated, and our email servers will know what to do with this virus infected email and will remove it automatically.
