The Challenge Response is a way to cut down on spam...
If you would like to add the Challenge Response to your web email account, you MUST submit a
Tech Support Ticket on our Contact Us page. The Challenge Response is not automatically set up with every web mail account. You have to request it.
Once you add the Challenge Response to your web based email, anytime someone unknown emails you for the first
time, they will receive a Challenge Response. They will have to click the Challenge Response to register that they
are not spam. If they do not click the Challenge Response, then their email will not get to you. They will have between
5-7 days to click the Challenge Response.
You can manually allow people through the Challenge Response, if you need to. To do this:
1) Login to your web based email.
2) Click on "Settings.
3) Then click on Challenge Response.
4) Under Challenge Response you may see emails from anyone trying to email you. You can see
whether someone has been rejected, authorized or if they are pending. You can "Authorize",
"Reject" or "Delete" the emails here.
You should check your Challenge Response periodically to make sure
nothing is being held or rejected that you may want.
There will be times when you will need to "Authorize"
emails to come through. Such as emails that are sent to you automatically when you sign up for something.
Some emails are Auto generated and they do not have the capability to "click" a Challenge Response. This is
the reason the Challenge Response prevents auto generated spam. So you MUST check the Challenge Response to
be sure you are not missing valid auto generated emails that you want or need.
If you receive a challenge Response when attempting to email someone, you only have to click it once to register yourself with that recipient.
