If you are transfering a domain, from OR to BummerDomains.com, you will need to do the following:

* Obtain the EPP Key or Authorization Code
* Unlock your Domain name with the current domain registrar

To Transfer a domain name From your current domain registrar TO BummerDomains.com, follow the steps below...

1) Login to your current domain registrar and unlock the domain name you wish to transfer. If you do not unlock your domain name, the transfer process cannot take place. You should see an EPP KEY or Authorization code with your domain name. You will need this! If you do not see this information, you will need to check with your domain registrar's FAQs or Customer Service to obtain this. This EPP KEY, sometimes known as an Authorization code, is required in order to transfer a domain name.

2) Login to your BummerDomains.com account.

If you do not have an account with BummerDomains.com, you will need to create one. The domain account setup is free. To create an account with BummerDomains.com, go here. FYI, domain registration requires the use of an isp email or domain email address upon sign up. Free email accounts, such as hotmail and yahoo or not allowed.

Once you are logged into your BummerDomains.com account, on the left hand side, click on "Transfer domain", follow the instructions and read the information on that page. Be sure your domain has not expired, or is not less than 60 days old. Domains less than 60 days old cannot be transfered. You will need to add funds to your BummerDomains.com account. The amount of time you add funds for will be added to the current time you have left on your domain registration. You will NOT lose anytime!

3) You will be asked for an EPP Key or Authorization code. You will need to check with your current domain registrar to find out how to obtain this EPP Key from them, also referred to as an Authorization code. You will not be able to transfer a domain without this.

To Transfer a domain name From BummerDomains.com TO a NEW domain registrar, you will need to check with your new domain name registrar for specific instructions. You will need to unlock your domain name with BummerDomains.com and obtain the EPP Key.
